Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy

BOOKING CONDITIONS

  • The reservation will only be effective with the agreement of the campsite, once the deposit and the duly filled and signed reservation contract or the acceptance of the general sales conditions when booking online have been received.
  • If the deposit payment is not made at the time of booking or the remaining amount is not paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay by the customer, the campsite reserves the right to cancel the reservation and offer the accommodation for rent again.
  • Reservations only bind the campsite if they have been accepted, which the campsite is free to do or not to do, depending on availability, and, in general, all circumstances that may affect the execution of the reservation made. The campsite offers family stays in the traditional sense, so the accommodations are specially designed for this purpose. The campsite reserves the right not to accept reservations that are contrary to this principle or that attempt to distort it.
  • The reservation of a pitch or accommodation (bungalow, cottage, mobile homes, tents, etc.) is strictly personal. Under no circumstances can the reservation be sublet or transferred without the prior consent of the campsite.
  • Minors must always be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Pitches
The basic price includes the pitch for the tent, caravan, or motorhome for 1 or 2 persons, access to the toilets, and the campsite’s facilities.

Acommodation

  • The accommodations are fully equipped. The basic price is for 2 up to a maximum of 6 people, depending on the type of accommodation and the campsite.
  • The campsite reserves the right to deny access to groups or families who arrive with a number of members exceeding the capacity of the rented accommodation.

GROUP RESERVATION

  • Any reservation of more than 4 accommodations made by a single individual or by several individuals who know each other, traveling together for identical reasons, and planning to stay on the same dates at the same campsite, is considered a group reservation.
  • The accommodations offered on the campsite’s commercial website are exclusively for individual customers.
  • To request a group reservation, you must always contact the campsite by phone at +34 956 922 418 or by email at hola@campingconil.es. The campsite reserves the right to examine the reservation request before accepting or rejecting it.

RATES AND MUNICIPAL STAY TAX

  • The prices indicated are valid for the 2023 season. They are per night and are in euros, including VAT.
  • The amount of the tourist stay tax may vary depending on the autonomous community, if applicable.
  • Rates may be subject to modifications during the season.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS

  • For reservations made more than 30 days in advance of the start date of the stay, a 50% deposit of the total price of the reserved services must be paid. The remaining amount must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date of the stay at the campsite.
  • For reservations made less than 30 days in advance of the start date of the stay, the total payment must be made at the time of booking (50% at the time of booking) with the remaining 50% to be paid during online check-in or at the campsite reception during check-in.
  • If the deposit payment is not made at the time of booking or the remaining amount is not paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay by the customer, the campsite reserves the right to cancel the reservation and offer the accommodation for rent again.

CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATIONS

  1. Modification of the reservation
    The client may request changes to their stay at the same campsite (dates, type of accommodation) by written request to the campsite (email: hola@campingconil.es), subject to availability and possibilities, as well as the application of surcharges if the new dates have higher prices than the ones previously requested. No postponement of the stay to the following season will be accepted. In the absence of changes, the client must proceed with their stay according to the initial conditions of the reservation.
  • Any request to extend the duration of the stay will be answered based on availability and current rates.
  • Any request to reduce the duration of the stay will be considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation and interruption conditions of the stay.
  1. Unused services
    In the event of an interrupted or shortened stay due to one of the following reasons:
  • Closure of borders by administrative decision
  • Administrative closure of the campsite
  • Limitation of travel by administrative decision to a number of kilometers that prevents access to the campsite.

The campsite will issue a voucher for the amount corresponding to the unused nights, which will be valid for two years. In the event that the customer rejects said voucher, the amount will be refunded, upon request, after deducting the cancellation insurance cost if it has been contracted.

With the exception of the reasons mentioned above, no interrupted or shortened stay (late arrival, early departure) by the customer, as well as weather-related reasons, will be eligible for refund or voucher.

 

  1. Cancellation by the campsite:
    In the event of a cancellation by the campsite, except in cases of force majeure, all amounts paid for the reservation will be refunded. However, this cancellation shall not entitle the customer to any compensation for damages.

 

  1. Cancellation caused by the customer:

In the event of a cancellation caused by the customer, except in cases of force majeure, the following cancellation and refund conditions shall apply.

Any request for cancellation must be communicated by email to hola@campingconil.es. Cancellations communicated by phone will not be considered. Any cancellation implies the termination of the reservation, and the campsite reserves the right to offer the accommodation for rent again.

  1. In case of cancellation by the customer:

Due to one of the following reasons (preventing the stay):

  • Closure of borders by administrative decision
  • Administrative closure of the campsite
  • Restriction of travel by administrative decision to a number of kilometers that does not allow access to the campsite

The campsite will issue a voucher for an amount corresponding to the total sums paid, which will be valid for two years. In case the customer rejects the voucher, the corresponding amount will be refunded upon request.

Cancellation for any other reason:

 

  • Case 1: Cancellation up to 16 (sixteen) days before the start of the stay.
    The campsite will retain 15% of the total amount of the stay as cancellation fees. The amounts paid will be refunded minus the amount of the deposit. If the payment has been made in part or in full with a voucher of higher value than the deposit: the campsite will retain 15% of the total amount of the stay as cancellation fees. A new non-refundable voucher, valid for 2 years and for use in the campsite, will be issued for the amount of the initial voucher, minus the 15% deposit. The remaining amounts paid, different from the voucher, will be refunded.
  • Case 2: Cancellation between 15 (fifteen) and 6 (six) days before the start of the stay.The campsite will retain 30% of the total amount of the stay as cancellation fees. A voucher will be issued for the value corresponding to the amounts paid minus the cancellation fees of 30% of the total amount of the stay. This voucher is non-refundable and non-transferable, and can only be used in the campsite where the stay was cancelled. It will be valid for two years.
  • Case 3: Cancelación entre 5 (cinco) días antes y el día de inicio de la estancia. Cancellation between 5 (five) days before and the day of the start of the stay. The campsite will retain the total amount of the amounts paid, which is the full amount of the stay. No refund will be made. The campsite reserves the right to offer the accommodation for rental again.
  • Case 4: In the event of not showing up before midnight on the day of the reservation without having communicated the delay in the check-in, the campsite will retain the full amount charged without the customer having the right to demand a refund. The campsite reserves the right to offer the accommodation for rental again from the following day.

The Stay

  1. Arrival
  • Accommodations: On the day of arrival at the campsite, you will be welcomed from 4:00 PM, and when handing over the keys to the accommodation, a security deposit may be requested.
  1. During the stay

It is the customer’s responsibility to watch over their personal belongings (bicycles, etc.). The campsite declines all responsibility in the event of an incident related to the customer’s civil liability. The property is not responsible for the loss, theft, misplacement, or breakage of any personal item. All customers must accept the provisions of the internal regulations. Each customer who is the holder of the accommodation is responsible for any inconvenience and damages caused by the people camping with them or visiting them at the campsite.

 

  1. Check-out
  • Accommodations: On the day of departure indicated in the contract, the accommodation must be vacated before 11:00 AM and must be returned in perfect cleanliness. The inventory may be checked, and the camper will be responsible for any broken or damaged items, as well as the repair of any necessary infrastructure. In case a security deposit has been requested, it will be refunded at the end of the stay, deducting any relevant indemnities, with supporting invoices for possible damages found during the check-out inspection. The retention of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation if the expenses exceed the amount of the deposit.
  • Accommodations: In case the accommodation has not been cleaned at the time of departure, a minimum cleaning fee of €95 including VAT will be charged (see “Rates” page on the camping website).
  • In case of late check-out, an additional day may be billed according to the current price for the night.

PETS

Pets are allowed in the camping area upon payment of a supplement at the time of booking. When their entry is authorized, they must always be kept on a leash. Pets are prohibited in the vicinity of the swimming pools, food stores, and buildings. The vaccination card for dogs and cats must be up-to-date.

IMAGE RIGHTS

Usted autoriza al camping, así como a cualquier otra persona designada por el camping, para que le fotografíe, grabe o filme durante su estancia en el camping y explote dichas imágenes, sonidos, videos y grabaciones en cualquier soporte (especialmente en los sitios o páginas de Internet dl camping, lo cual incluye Facebook e Instagram, en los soportes de presentación y promoción del camping y las guías de viaje o turísticas). Este consentimiento concierne tanto a su persona como a todas las personas que se alojen con usted. El único objetivo del mismo es garantizar la promoción y animación de los establecimientos y la red del camping y en ningún caso podrá socavar su reputación. Este consentimiento se presta de forma gratuita, para todos los países y para un periodo de cinco años de duración.  

LITIGATION

Toda reclamación eventual relativa a la no conformidad de las prestaciones con respecto a los compromisos contractuales podrá comunicarse por correo ordinario o electrónico al gerente del camping.

MEDIATION

If you are not satisfied with the response obtained, you may refer the matter to the Mediation Center of the autonomous community where the campsite is located, after a period of one month from the sending of your postal or email communication.

 

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CAMPSITE

The campsite strives to ensure the updating of all information published on the campsite’s website, including presentation photographs, ratings, activities, leisure facilities, services, and opening dates. However, as some of this information may sometimes be subject to change, and the photos are provided by the manufacturers of the accommodations themselves, the photos and information on the website are not contractual. Therefore, the campsite will only have an obligation to provide means.
